-- D14 biblical business academy --

This Did Not Begin as a Funnel.

It Began as a Burden.

D14 Biblical Business Academy was created to help Christian business owners build, lead, steward, and grow their businesses biblically.

  • Not just ethically.

  • Not just efficiently.

  • Not just profitably.

  • Biblically.

D14BBA exists because many Christian business owners genuinely want to honor God in their work, but they are often left without a structured path for applying the teachings of Jesus to the real responsibilities of business ownership.

  • Leadership.

  • Stewardship.

  • Service.

  • Planning.

  • Growth.

  • Operations.

  • Money.

  • Team formation.

  • Accountability.

These are not separate from discipleship.

For a Christian business owner, they belong under the authority of Christ.

It is for those who want to apply the teachings of Jesus to the real work of leadership, stewardship, service, operations, growth, and team formation.

WHAT D14BBA IS

Biblical business formation built on the parables and teachings of Jesus.

D14 Biblical Business Academy is a mission-first biblical business formation academy built around the teachings, parables, and business-relevant wisdom of Jesus.

The academy helps Christian business owners and churches apply Scripture to the practical decisions of ownership, leadership, stewardship, operations, growth, and team development.

D14BBA is not generic Christian business coaching.

It is not motivational content with Bible verses attached.

It is not prosperity teaching.

It is not built around hype, guru language, or promises of automatic business success.

D14BBA is built around a simple conviction:

Christian business owners need practical formation rooted in Scripture.

The central positioning is clear:

Biblical business formation built on the parables and teachings of Jesus.

That is the heart of D14BBA.

WHY D14BBA EXISTS

Christian business owners need a biblical framework for the work they actually do.

Academy Membership is the core learning path inside D14 Biblical Business Academy.

Many churches disciple people in vital areas of life:

  • Marriage.

  • Parenting.

  • Prayer.

  • Generosity.

  • Service.

  • Personal holiness.

  • Community.

  • Doctrine.

But business owners often carry a unique kind of pressure.

They are responsible for employees, customers, vendors, payroll, risk, growth, debt, operations, decisions, culture, and sometimes entire families connected to the business.

They are often asking questions like:

  • How should I lead people?

  • How should I think about profit?

  • How do I grow without becoming ruled by ambition?

  • How do I market without manipulating?

  • How do I hire and fire with wisdom and dignity?

  • How do I build systems without losing sight of people?

  • How do I steward opportunity without making success an idol?

  • How do I bring my business under the lordship of Christ?

Many Christian business owners want those answers, but they are often left to assemble their worldview from secular business books, podcasts, consultants, conferences, and online advice.

Some of that advice may be useful.

But useful is not the same as biblical.

D14BBA exists to help close that gap.

THE FOUNDER

About David "D14" DeSchoolmeester

D14 Biblical Business Academy was founded by David "D14" DeSchoolmeester.

David is a disabled U.S. Navy Veteran, former member of the Naval Nuclear Power Program, Christian business owner, author, business strategist, and AI strategist.

Before founding D14BBA, David worked across business coaching, marketing strategy, book publishing, business systems, automation, AI strategy, and practical growth planning.

He previously operated D14 Agency, where he helped business owners think through messaging, positioning, marketing, systems, and growth.

But over time, the deeper burden became clearer.

Christian business owners do not only need more tactics.

They need biblical formation.

They need a way to bring ownership, leadership, stewardship, service, growth, systems, team culture, and business decisions under the teachings of Jesus.

That burden became the foundation for The CEO & The Carpenter and eventually D14 Biblical Business Academy.

THE FOUNDER's STORY

From business strategy to biblical business formation.

For years, David worked around business strategy, marketing, publishing, systems, and technology.

He saw how much advice business owners receive.

  • Some of it is practical.

  • Some of it is clever.

  • Some of it is helpful.

  • Some of it is shallow.

  • Some of it is manipulative.

  • Some of it is driven by ego, speed, scale, and money.

He also saw Christian business owners trying to follow Jesus while still making hard business decisions every day.

They were not simply asking, “How do I make more money?”

Many were asking deeper questions:

  • How do I honor God here?

  • How do I lead this person well?

  • How do I make this decision faithfully?

  • How do I grow without losing my soul?

  • How do I serve customers without compromising truth?

  • How do I build something that reflects stewardship, not vanity?

D14BBA grew from the conviction that Christian business owners need more than scattered advice.

They need a structured, practical, Scripture-rooted path.

That path begins with the parables and teachings of Jesus.

THE WORKBOOK THAT STARTED THE PATH

The CEO & The Carpenter

The foundational resource for D14BBA is The CEO & The Carpenter.

It is a biblical business workbook built around business themes drawn from the parables and teachings of Jesus.

The workbook helps Christian owners and leaders reflect on the way they lead, serve, plan, steward, grow, build teams, and make decisions.

It was created for:

  • individual business owners

  • church business groups

  • founders and owner-operators

  • service business owners

  • Christian-led leadership teams

  • staff development conversations

  • marketplace ministry groups

The book is the starting point because it gives D14BBA its shared language and biblical framework.

The Academy then builds on that foundation through community, digital lessons, group studies, business courses, and certification.

Forever Practice Business Courses

Practical business training adapted for Christian owners and leaders.

Academy Membership includes access to all 9 Forever Practice business training courses.

These courses were originally developed for private medical practices, but the business model behind many service businesses is remarkably similar:

  • Clarify the audience.

  • Define the message.

  • Attract leads.

  • Build trust.

  • Deliver value.

  • Systemize operations.

  • Lead people well.

  • Create better processes.

  • Grow responsibly.

D14BBA adapts those same business-building principles for Christian owners and leaders across service-based businesses.

The course content helps members think practically about business structure, message, marketing, systems, operations, growth, and delivery — while the D14BBA framework keeps the larger conversation grounded in biblical wisdom.

Homework, Assignments, and Quizzes

Formation requires response.

Business Owner Membership is not designed for passive watching.

Members are encouraged to complete homework, assignments, and quizzes that help turn ideas into reflection, decisions, and action.

The goal is not busywork.

The goal is to help you examine your business honestly and apply what you are learning.

Individual Certification Path for The 9-Step Forever Practice Business Courses

Complete the work. Demonstrate the learning.

Business Owner Membership includes an individual certification path for members who complete the required videos, assignments, homework, and quizzes.

Certification is designed for individual learners.

That means each person pursuing certification needs individual learner access.

A future facilitator certification may be developed later for church leaders or business owners who want to lead groups, but the first priority is individual learner certification.

THE 9-STEP FOREVER PRACTICE BUSINESS COURSES

Practical business principles for service-based businesses.

The Forever Practice courses were originally created for private medical practices.

However, many of the core principles apply to service businesses and owner-led companies across industries.

These are the bonus Themes added to The CEO & The Carpenter - - Themes 41 - 49

The courses help members think through business fundamentals such as:

  • Clarify the audience.

  • Define the message.

  • Attract leads.

  • Build trust.

  • Deliver value.

  • Systemize operations.

  • Lead people well.

WHAT MAKES D14BBA DIFFERENT

This is not another “Kingdom entrepreneur” hype brand.

There are many Christian business resources available today. Some are useful. Some are inspiring. Some are built around networking, coaching, masterminds, or motivation.

D14BBA is different because the center is not a guru, a growth formula, or a promise of business success.

The center is the teaching of Jesus.

D14BBA is built around:

  • the parables and teachings of Jesus

  • practical biblical business formation

  • workbook-based learning

  • church-deployable structure

  • community-supported growth

  • honest startup-stage development

  • clear membership pathways

  • practical business usefulness

  • mission-first financial posture

The goal is not to help you look like a more religious version of the world’s business leaders.

The goal is to help you build and lead more faithfully under Christ.

BRINGING D14BBA TO YOUR TEAM

Start with yourself. Then bring the conversation to your people.

Many Christian business owners eventually want their team to think differently too.

That is good.

But the best first step is for the owner to go first.

  • Work through the book.

  • Examine your own leadership.

  • Clarify what needs to change.

  • Pray through your responsibilities.

  • Then decide how to bring the material into your team.

You may use the workbook for:

  • leadership team discussion

  • staff development

  • company values conversations

  • stewardship training

  • service culture development

  • team accountability

  • manager development

  • internal business formation

Group discussion can begin through workbook use.

Individual certification requires individual learner access.

Additional staff certification seats can be added separately as the program develops.

BIBLICAL WISDOM FOR THE AI AGE

Modern tools require ancient wisdom.

AI, automation, and modern business systems are changing how companies communicate, serve customers, create content, manage work, and make decisions.

Christian business owners should not ignore these tools.

But we should not blindly chase them either.

D14BBA will help owners think clearly about AI, automation, and modern business systems through the lens of stewardship, service, integrity, wisdom, and human dignity.

The better question is not simply:

Can this save time?

The better questions are:

  • Does this serve people well?

  • Does this protect trust?

  • Does this improve stewardship?

  • Does this honor the people affected by it?

  • Does this make the business more faithful, or merely faster?

  • Does this help us serve better, or does it help us hide from responsibility?

AI education may become part of the D14BBA learning path, but done-for-you AI implementation and technical services may need to remain separate depending on legal, tax, and nonprofit guidance.

D14BBA will move carefully and responsibly here.

MISSION-FIRST GIVING VISION

Built to serve beyond itself.

D14BBA is being built as a mission-first academy.

The long-term goal is to become a registered nonprofit organization, if legally appropriate, and to use proceeds beyond operating costs to support Bible translation, children’s health, and other mission-aligned causes.

Until that structure is finalized, membership payments are not represented as tax-deductible charitable donations.

As the academy grows, the intent is to be transparent about:

  • operating costs

  • compensation

  • administrative expenses

  • net proceeds

  • mission-aligned giving

  • future giving reports

The point is not to use generosity as a marketing gimmick.

The point is to build a faithful academy that serves business owners, strengthens churches, supports teams, and eventually contributes to mission-aligned causes beyond itself.

FROM DAVID

A personal note

I believe Christian business owners need more than motivation.

They need formation.

I know what it is like to study business strategy, marketing, systems, technology, and leadership. Those things matter. But they are not enough.

If Jesus is Lord, then He is Lord over the way we lead, sell, hire, plan, delegate, serve, grow, build systems, steward money, and treat people.

That conviction is why D14BBA exists.

This is not finished yet. It is being built.

But the mission is clear:

Help Christian business owners build and lead biblically.

Help churches serve the business owners in their congregations.

Help teams discuss business through the teachings of Jesus.

Build something faithful, useful, honest, and practical.

That is the work.
