THE PROBLEM

You are carrying more than most people see.

Business ownership is a blessing, but it is not light.

You carry decisions that affect customers, employees, vendors, families, income, reputation, and sometimes entire communities.

You may be responsible for:

  • Payroll.

  • Sales.

  • Leadership.

  • Hiring.

  • Firing.

  • Customer service.

  • Systems.

  • Marketing.

  • Operations.

  • Cash flow.

  • Team culture.

  • Growth.

  • Risk.

  • Your own family’s future

And if you are a Christian business owner, there is an even deeper question underneath all of it:

How do I run this business faithfully before God?

  • Not just profitably.

  • Not just efficiently.

  • Not just ethically.

  • Biblically.

Most Christian business owners want to honor God, but they are often left to piece together business wisdom from secular books, podcasts, coaches, software companies, consultants, and social media advice.

Some of that advice may be useful.

But useful is not the same as biblical.

D14BBA exists to help you bring your business life under the teachings of Jesus.

WHAT D14BBA IS

Biblical business formation built on the parables and teachings of Jesus.

D14 Biblical Business Academy is a mission-first academy designed to help Christian business owners build, lead, steward, and grow their businesses biblically.

The foundation is The CEO & The Carpenter, a biblical business workbook built around business themes drawn from the parables and teachings of Jesus.

This is not generic Christian motivation.

It is not prosperity teaching.

It is not a promise that faithfulness will automatically make your business easy, wealthy, or successful.

It is a structured path for examining your business through Scripture and asking better questions about the way you lead, serve, decide, grow, and steward what God has entrusted to you.

D14BBA helps you move from scattered business advice to structured biblical business formation.

WHO IS THIS FOR

D14BBA is for Christian owners who want their business to come under Christ.

D14BBA was created for Christian business owners who want more than tactics.

It may be a good fit if you are a:

  • private practice owners

  • business owners

  • service business owners

  • founders

  • entrepreneurs

  • owner-operators

  • contractors

  • trades business owners

  • nonprofit leaders

  • executives

  • managers

  • team leader

  • local business owner

  • entrepreneur building from the ground up

  • Christian owner who wants to bring biblical formation into your team

You do not need to have a large company.

You do not need to have everything figured out.

You do not need to be polished, impressive, or already successful by someone else’s standard.

You do need to be willing to slow down, open Scripture, examine your business honestly, and ask:

Lord, what have You entrusted to me, and how should I steward it?

WHAT WILL YOU THINK THROUGH

Real business issues through a biblical lens.

D14BBA helps Christian business owners think through the responsibilities they actually carry.

Possible discussion themes include:

Stewardship

What has God entrusted to me, and how should I manage it faithfully?

Leadership

How do I lead people with humility, clarity, courage, and accountability?

Service

How do I serve customers, employees, vendors, and communities well?

Money

How should I think about revenue, profit, compensation, debt, generosity, and provision?

Growth

How do I pursue growth without allowing ambition to become an idol?

Planning

How do I prepare wisely while remembering that I do not control tomorrow?

Risk

How do I evaluate opportunity, responsibility, danger, timing, and faithfulness?

Delegation

How do I entrust responsibility to others and help people develop?

Accountability

How do I measure fruit, correct problems, and remain faithful when no one is watching?

Team Culture

How do I build a workplace marked by dignity, truth, responsibility, service, and trust?

THE STARTING POINT

Start with The CEO & The Carpenter.

The best first step is the book/workbook.

The CEO & The Carpenter is the foundational resource for D14 Biblical Business Academy.

It walks through biblical business themes drawn from the parables and teachings of Jesus and helps you reflect on the way you lead, serve, plan, grow, and steward your business.

This is not meant to be consumed quickly and forgotten.

It is meant to be worked through.

  • Read slowly.

  • Write honestly.

  • Pray seriously.

  • Apply practically.

  • Use it as an individual owner.

  • Use it with another business owner.

  • Use it in a church group.

  • Use it with your leadership team.

  • Use it later with your staff.

The book is the foundation because it gives you the shared language and biblical framework for the rest of D14BBA.

WHAT MAKES D14BBA DIFFERENT

This is not another “Kingdom entrepreneur” hype brand.

There are many Christian business resources available today. Some are useful. Some are inspiring. Some are built around networking, coaching, masterminds, or motivation.

D14BBA is different because the center is not a guru, a growth formula, or a promise of business success.

The center is the teaching of Jesus.

D14BBA is built around:

  • the parables and teachings of Jesus

  • practical biblical business formation

  • workbook-based learning

  • church-deployable structure

  • community-supported growth

  • honest startup-stage development

  • clear membership pathways

  • practical business usefulness

  • mission-first financial posture

The goal is not to help you look like a more religious version of the world’s business leaders.

The goal is to help you build and lead more faithfully under Christ.

BRINGING D14BBA TO YOUR TEAM

Start with yourself. Then bring the conversation to your people.

Many Christian business owners eventually want their team to think differently too.

That is good.

But the best first step is for the owner to go first.

  • Work through the book.

  • Examine your own leadership.

  • Clarify what needs to change.

  • Pray through your responsibilities.

  • Then decide how to bring the material into your team.

You may use the workbook for:

  • leadership team discussion

  • staff development

  • company values conversations

  • stewardship training

  • service culture development

  • team accountability

  • manager development

  • internal business formation

Group discussion can begin through workbook use.

Individual certification requires individual learner access.

Additional staff certification seats can be added separately as the program develops.

BIBLICAL WISDOM FOR THE AI AGE

Modern tools require ancient wisdom.

AI, automation, and modern business systems are changing how companies communicate, serve customers, create content, manage work, and make decisions.

Christian business owners should not ignore these tools.

But we should not blindly chase them either.

D14BBA will help owners think clearly about AI, automation, and modern business systems through the lens of stewardship, service, integrity, wisdom, and human dignity.

The better question is not simply:

Can this save time?

The better questions are:

  • Does this serve people well?

  • Does this protect trust?

  • Does this improve stewardship?

  • Does this honor the people affected by it?

  • Does this make the business more faithful, or merely faster?

  • Does this help us serve better, or does it help us hide from responsibility?

AI education may become part of the D14BBA learning path, but done-for-you AI implementation and technical services may need to remain separate depending on legal, tax, and nonprofit guidance.

D14BBA will move carefully and responsibly here.

FOUNDER NOTE

From David DeSchoolmeester

This did not begin as a funnel. It began as a burden.

For years, I worked in business strategy, marketing, publishing, systems, AI, and coaching. I saw how much advice business owners receive — and how little of it begins with Scripture.

I also saw how many Christian business owners genuinely want to honor God, but do not always have a practical path for thinking biblically about the daily weight of ownership.

D14 Biblical Business Academy was created to help close that gap.

My goal is not to build the loudest Christian business brand.

My goal is to build something faithful, useful, practical, and rooted in the teachings of Jesus.

  • Something pastors can trust.

  • Something business owners can use.

  • Something teams can discuss.

  • Something that helps Christian owners build and lead biblically.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be a business owner to join?

D14BBA is primarily designed for Christian business owners, founders, owner-operators, and leaders with real responsibility. Executives, managers, nonprofit leaders, and emerging leaders may also benefit.

Do I need to buy the book first?

The book is the recommended starting point because it introduces the biblical framework and workbook structure. You can join the free community first, but the material will make more sense if you begin with The CEO & The Carpenter.

Is this only for service businesses?

No. Many of the business principles apply broadly. However, D14BBA is especially practical for service business owners, private practices, contractors, consultants, agencies, and owner-led companies.

Why are some courses called Forever Practice?

The Forever Practice courses were originally developed for private medical practices. Many service businesses share similar business-building principles: audience, message, lead generation, trust, delivery, systems, operations, and responsible growth. D14BBA adapts those principles for Christian business owners across service-based businesses.

Is this a coaching program?

D14BBA is primarily an academy, workbook, community, and learning path. The Business Owner Membership includes monthly group Q&A and possible review opportunities, but it is not positioned as private one-on-one coaching.

Is this prosperity teaching?

No. D14BBA does not teach that faithfulness guarantees wealth, ease, or business success. It focuses on biblical wisdom, faithful stewardship, leadership, service, accountability, and practical business formation.

Can I bring this to my team?

Yes. Business owners can use the workbook with their leadership team or staff. Individual certification requires individual learner access, but group discussion can begin with workbook use.

Can my church use this?

Yes. Churches can purchase workbooks in bulk and use the facilitator guide to gather business owners for a workbook-based biblical business study.

Is D14BBA a nonprofit?

D14BBA is being built as a mission-first academy with the goal of becoming a registered nonprofit organization if legally appropriate. Until that structure is finalized, membership payments are not represented as tax-deductible charitable donations.

What is the best first step?

Start with The CEO & The Carpenter. Then join the free community and decide whether Academy Membership or Business Owner Membership is the right next step.
